What is ReliaVideo?
ReliaVideo is a video source used for Project Z as an on-site video resource. Made completely in HTML, the site introduces simplicity with a format that does not appear elsewhere in the zopney.com domain.As of the Crescent changes, ReliaVideo does not take requests for new content and is completely dependent on the videos that zopney wishes to upload.
What formats does the videos support?
As of March 7, 2009, the only format support available is DivX format. DivX allows quicker buffering and high-quality retrieval of videos without completely molesting the codecs or web browser. DivX has tremendous quality without the use of third party host and is very user friendly. This will allow any Relia viewers to enjoy high-quality videos without worrying about the extensive resources required that other formats demand.
As of November 19, 2009, Relia has added in Matroska formatted videos using DivX technology. Matroska is super high quality video format that allows multiple audio and subtitles. Using DivX technology, Matroska acts like any DivX video with only slightly longer buffering times. Since Matroska is widely used for video throughout the Internet, Relia does not have to add in the second step of converting videos into a DivX extension to be played on Relia.

All these jobs apply only to ReliaVideo.Content Uploader - The content uploader provides content for Relia and allows new videos to be released. Uploaders have access to a folder in the FTP to dump all their content and will be moved from there by a global admin. Must have content and familiar with FileZilla or similar.Convertor - The convertor is simply taking any conflicting formats (.avi, .mkv, .wmv, etc.) and converting the file into a correct format (for now, .divx). This position only has access to the same folder as the Content Uploader, but has the same powers as them. Convertors must have converting software and be familiar with FileZilla uploading and downloading.- Len - Len is a special rank that comes directly from the request of Relia. This position fixes any new content and codes all the pages of the site. Len has only one access to a specific folder for a show at any time. However, Lens can be changed from one show to another. A Len requires a request from Relia to zopney. A Len exists as long as a Relia exists. If there's no Relia, there are no Lens. No exceptions.
- Relia - This is a special name given as the Site Administrator for the entire Relia site. Relia has access to all the files and folders and is responsible for handling the site in an orderly fashion. Relia can request helpers called Lens from zopney to assist with coding the pages for the site. Must be experienced with HTML, FileZilla, and provide leadership skills. Only 1 position is avaiable for this job.
Reviewer - The reviewer is as the name says, reviews the content. Reviewers provide critical information when opinion is needed from another source for the viewer. The main nature of the Relia reviewers is that these intellects can be biased and can favor or not favor a specific show. Reviewers get their own HTML webspace which can be modfied to their needs. Must be able to write intelligent reviews. More information can be found here.Secretary - The secretary is the main bridge between the public and the global administrator (in this case, zopney). Since zopney currently runs many Applications and works with new Applications daily, the secretary will acquire and relay any public interest, questions, comments, etc. to him. Must be social, keep notes to be relayed, and is familiar with zopney.
